The 3rd and 4th batches of Hard Skills Training 2023 has been held successfully at the Madridejos National High School in Alegría, Cebu last May 13-14 and 20-21, 2023. Participating students were composed of students from the Alegria program.
The IT Training with the theme: “Mobile Focused and Cloud Computing Solutions in the Age of Hybrid Work and Distance Learning” was facilitated by YUNIT IT trainers, Mr. Kenneth Porio and Mr. Vincent Gonzales.
They were taught courses in topics in the training including Computational Thinking, Google Docs, Google Forms, Doing Research Using Google Tools, Mobile App Development using Thunkable, Basic Photography and Videography using Mobile Tools, and Basic Computer Hardware Assembly.
This is the second of many series of skills training that will be held in cooperation with Children of Asia Philippines, Project YUNIT, and Gabay Training Center, with the support of AFD and Sun Life Foundation.
The next batches of training are expected to be held in Cebu City this June and July 2023.
