The third leg of the 2nd year of Participatory Assessment for Project YUNIT was held on October 18, 2022 at Mabolo National High School (MNHS) in Cebu City. The said event was attended by the members of the School PTA (SPTA) and the Supreme Student Government (SSG) of the said school.
Attendees were able to be assessed and learn about the Child Rights Approach by answering a survey about their knowledge of the United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), and showing of a series of video presentation of the UNCRC. Next was a series of video training on Gender Sensitivity and PWD Inclusion. Later, the PTA presented their financial reports and current budget. In the afternoon session, the attendees created their Gender Sensitive Action Plan which consists of objectives to take action all the concerns and issues of the PTA and SSG. Furthermore, they were then asked to vote for their respective Focal Persons for the three thematics under Project YUNIT, namely ICT, Awareness, and Livelihood. Finally, the attendees were then presented the IGA Continuity Plan.
This activity was possible with the efforts of the Project YUNIT team, and the support of the MNHS students, faculty, staff, and parents.
