Children of Asia Philippines formally introduces its new Country Director, Ms. Barbie Romeo-Guardiario, who will serve the organization beginning August 2022.

The entire team of Children of Asia Philippines, along with its subsidiary institutions, namely: Project YUNIT, DICE: Diversity, Inclusion, & Children Empowerment, and GABAY Training Center, is excited and eager to learn and grow under her leadership. They are privileged to have the opportunity to work under someone as respected and experienced as she is.

Furthermore, Miss Barbie’s acceptance speech is found below.

“I am pleased and honored to accept the position of Country Director of Children of Asia PH with a great passion for the organization, all the beneficiaries, and the entire PH team. I did not seek nor apply for this position but I believe that all the effort of the entire team made me capable of being considered for this position and I owe all the heartiest appreciation to my mentor for the past 2 years, Ms. Leslie Goldlust, my fellow Managers, and the rest of the team including the Parent-Volunteers and OJTs. I do hope and wish that together we all will continue the same professional atmosphere, focus, and commitment to CoA’s Vision, Mission, and Goals in order to serve the children better and empower both rights-holders and duty-bearers to claim their rights for the betterment of their futures. I am grateful to you all, including my ever-supportive family, for being a part of my journey so far and cheers to many awesome years ahead.”
