The second leg of Focal Person Training of Project YUNIT by Children of Asia Philippines has recently been conducted at the Almacen-Torevillas National High School – Senior High School campus in Brgy. Lamintak Norte, Medellín, Cebu, last April 2 and 3, 2022.
The participating Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs) were from Almacen-Torevillas National High School in Medellín, and from Daanbantayan National High School in Daanbantayan.
The Focal Person Training series focuses on building up skills of the future trainers and implementers of the different projects that are conducted by the partner schools of the organization. The participants were divided into three groups, namely: Awareness, Livelihood, and Information Technology, and were given breakout sessions throughout the two full sessions of the training. Facilitators during the trainer include Ms. Joyce Lapatha, Training Center Coordinator; Ms. Kathlen Cosares-Labita, Deputy Education Program Director; Mr. Jonathan Aro, Community & Entrepreneurship Development Officer, and Mr. Kenneth Porio, IT Admin and Trainer.
The final leg of the Focal Person Training will be held on April 23 and 24, 2022 at Alegría, Cebu.
