Excitement filled the halls of Almacen-Torevillas National High School (ATNHS) in Barangay Lamintak Sur, Medellín, Cebu as the delivery of donated ICT equipment arrived in their institution, through the efforts of Project YUNIT by Children of Asia Philippines. The turnover of ICT equipment was done in the morning of April 2, 2022 attended by administrators, faculty, staff, and members of the school’s Parent-Teacher Association (PTA).
The donated equipment are composed of a digital duplicator, 12 laptops, and 12 pocket wi-fi modems for the school’s faculty, and a laptop, a pocket wi-fi modem, and a printer that will be used by the schools’ PTA.
Meanwhile, the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between Children of Asia and ATNHS was also held, cementing the partnership between the two establishments in supporting the cause of supporting the beneficiaries of the community – learners, parents, and faculty.
This is part of the commitment of Project YUNIT to deliver Information Technology solutions to its beneficiaries, with the support of sponsor AFD (Agénce française du développemment – French Development Agency).
