The administrators, faculty, and staff of Vito Elementary School in Minglanilla, Cebu has just received the donated ICT equipment from Project YUNIT by Children of Asia Philippines, through the support of AFD – Agence Française de Développement (French Development Agency). With this, a turnover ceremony was held last April 8, 2022 to celebrate this historic event.
A total of thirteen (13) laptops, thirteen (13) LTE-Advanced pocket-wifi modems, and a digital duplicator was handed over to the VES faculty, while a laptop, a pocket-wifi modem, and inkjet printer was handed over to the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of VES.
Afterwards, the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement between VES and Children of Asia Philippines, represented by its Deputy Country Director, Ms. Barbie Romeo-Guardiario, and IT Director and Project YUNIT Manager, Mr. Allan Christian Obispo, was also held, cementing the partnership between the two establishments in supporting the cause of supporting the beneficiaries of the community – learners, parents, and faculty.
A certificate of appreciation was also handed over to Children of Asia staff afterwards.
